LSI Training Center Improv Program
We offer a 2 level long-form improv class program. Each level includes 8 weekly classes and student shows at the end of each level! Cost is $195 per level. Must be 18+ to register.
Level 1 and 2 take place on Monday and Tuesday evenings at the theater and are offered in continuity on the same weeknight. For example, if your Level 1 class is on Mondays, Level 2 the following session will also be on Mondays. We reserve several registration spaces in each level for recipients of our diversity and inclusion scholarships.
Diversity and Inclusion Scholarships
If you are interested in applying for one of our diversity and inclusion scholarships, please fill out this Google Form! Recipients receive 50% off registration for all classes and scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis. Because we offer only one class level each session, it can be anywhere from 4-8 months between submitting your application and hearing back from us. We appreciate your patience!
LSI Level 1 – $195
Tuesdays beginning 8/12 | 7-9:30pm
LSI Level 1 focuses on fundamental long-form improv concepts including two person scenes, group scenes, and show performance skills. Class culminates in 2 student shows on our weekly Thursday Show!
Prerequisite: None! All experience levels welcome.
LSI Level 2 – $195
Mondays beginning 8/11 | 7-9:30pm
LSI Level 2 focuses on advanced scenic concepts and show performance skills including character development and tags. Class culminates in 3 student shows on our weekly Thursday Show and Sunday Show!
Prerequisite: Completion of LSI Level 1, with exceptions made for improvisers with previous class and performance experience, based on availability.
