LSI Level 1 Summer Intensive
LSI Level 1 Summer Intensive is an 5-day improv class that will meet daily from Wednesday (8/5) through Sunday (8/9) at Logan Square Improv at 12pm.
The intensive will include 18 hours of class over 5 days, broken up into 4 days from 12-4pm and 12-2pm on Sunday. In addition to the 5 days of class, the students will have a show on Sunday August 9th at 8pm! Registration cost is $215.
This intensive will cover basic improv principles and no prior experience is necessary. The curriculum of LSI Summer Intensive will be a condensed version of our LSI 1 Intro to Improv 8-week class. Students will be eligible to take a future LSI 2 class based on availability.
Students will also get to attend any shows at LSI for free during the week!

LSI Training Center Improv Program
We offer a 3 level long form improv class program. Each level includes 8 weekly classes and student shows on our weekly Thursday Show! Cost is $215 per level. Must be 18+ to register.
Our classes take place on Monday and Tuesday evenings as well as Sunday afternoons at the theater. Classes are offered in continuity at the same time for each group. For example, if your Level 1 class is on Mondays, your Level 2 and Level 3 classes will also be on Mondays. We reserve several registration spaces in each level for recipients of our diversity and inclusion scholarships. If you have prior improv experience and would like to skip our Level 1 class and take either our Level 2 or Level 3 class, please email us and we will find space for you based on availability.
Diversity and Inclusion Scholarships
If you are interested in applying for one of our diversity and inclusion scholarships, please fill out this Google Form! Recipients receive 50% off registration for all classes and scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis. Because we offer only one class level each session, it can be anywhere from 4-8 months between submitting your application and hearing back from us. We appreciate your patience!

LSI Level 1

LSI Level 1 introduces foundational long form improv concepts including approaches to 2 person scene work as well as playing within an ensemble. LSI Level 1 registration for this session is now closed.
LSI Level 2
Tuesdays | 7:00 – 9:30pm | 6/2 – 7/28, No Class 6/30 | Class Shows 7/16 & 7/23 @ 7:30pm
LSI Level 2 focuses on continuing foundational concepts gained in Level 1 and introduces tags, world building, and character development. The LSI Level 2 registration link is distributed internally to our LSI Level 1 class.
LSI Level 3
Sundays | 2:30 – 5:00pm | 5/31 – 7/26 | Class Shows 8/6, 8/13, & 8/20 @ 7:30pm
LSI Level 3 focuses on honing advanced approaches to 2 person scene work including playing with patience and natural discovery in scenes. This level also includes performer feedback and notes. The LSI Level 3 registration link is distributed internally to our LSI Level 2 class.
